What is an IRCTC Agent ID?
An IRCTC Agent ID is an authorized identification card that allows a CSC VLE to legally book railway tickets and earn service charges and commissions. An Agent ID can only be obtained from a CSC.
IRCTC Registration through CSC – Step-by-Step Process
Open the CSC Safar Portal
First, log in to the CSC Safar portal.
Home Page → Services
Click on IRCTC Registration.
Login to Digital Seva
This will take you to a new portal.
Login with your CSC Digital Seva ID here.
Register New
Now you need to fill out a new IRCTC agent registration form.
Attach your voter ID card as address proof.
Enter the kiosk address on your voter card.
Once the ID is created, you will receive an email and SMS.
After successful registration:
You will receive an IRCTC activation link in your email.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile.
What to do Next?
Click on the link in the email.
Enter the SMS OTP to activate your ID.
Once activated, log in to the Agent Portal.

Here:
Log in with the user ID and password received in your email.
Then select Profile Update → Aadhaar Verification.
Aadhaar verification is required.
The ticket booking service will not start without Aadhaar verification.
Therefore, it is very important to log in and update your profile.
Now log in to the CSC Safar portal again.
After completing all the steps:

✔ Select IRCTC Services
✔ Now you can book tickets as an IRCTC agent.
