Brief Information

UPSC EPFO APFC Recruitment 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced recruitment for 80 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) posts in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment. The recruitment is being conducted through Special Advertisement No. 52/2026.

The online application process started on 22 August 2026. The original deadline was 11 September 2026, but UPSC has now extended the last date to 14 September 2026 up to 6:00 PM. The Recruitment Test (RT) is scheduled for 20 December 2026.

Candidates with a recognised Bachelor's degree who meet the prescribed age and other eligibility conditions can apply online through the UPSC recruitment portal.

UPSC EPFO APFC Selection Process 2026

The selection process consists primarily of:
1. Recruitment Test
A pen-and-paper based Recruitment Test (RT) will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
2. Interview
Candidates shortlisted through the Recruitment Test will be called for an interview.
The final selection will be made according to the applicable UPSC recruitment procedure.
The APFC Recruitment Test is scheduled for 20 December 2026.
