Haryana NMMSS Scholarship 2026–27: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana, has released the prospectus for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination 2026–27. Eligible Class 8 students studying in Government and Government-Aided Schools in Haryana can apply online.

The Haryana NMMSS 2026–27 application process will start on 24 September 2026, while the last date to apply is 24 October 2026. The examination is scheduled for 29 November 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Haryana NMMSS Scholarship 2026–27 Eligibility

• To apply for the Haryana NMMSS Scholarship Examination, candidates must satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions.
• The student must be studying in Class 8.
• The student must be enrolled in a Government or Government-Aided School in Haryana.
• The candidate must have passed Class 7 with at least 55% marks.
• Annual combined family income from all sources must be less than ₹3,50,000.
• Candidates must satisfy the applicable conditions regarding previous attempts and Class 8.
• Students studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, KGBVs, residential schools or private schools are not eligible as per the supplied notification details.

Haryana NMMSS Reservation 2026–27

• Reservation is provided according to the applicable Haryana Government norms at the district level.
• SC: 20%
• BC-A: 16%
• BC-B: 11%
• PwD: 3%
• General/Unreserved: Remaining seats
• Candidates claiming reservation benefits should provide a valid category certificate issued by the competent authority.

• The examination syllabus is based on the Class 7 and Class 8 curriculum.

• The Scholastic Ability Test consists of:
